Northern District

The Northern District is made up of the towns of Boorhaman & Boorhaman North, Killawarra, North Wangaratta, Peechelba and Springhurst. This farming community offers wide open spaces, beautiful big red gums and plenty of fresh air!

Childcare and Wangaratta's High Schools (Galen Catholic College, Cathedral College & Wangaratta High School) as well as many primary schools in Wangaratta are all within a 15-30 minute drive or bus ride. 

Facilities

Recreation and sporting opportunities are dynamic and diverse with a range of established sporting groups and emerging alternative sporting activities. Football, netball, clay shooting, tennis, golf, lawn bowls and foot golf are all played in the district.

For more casual activities, the district has multiple reserves which offer beautiful picnic and bbq areas, along with two golf courses.
